Xave Picks ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent product review website operated by Xave (@xave_main on TikTok). This page explains our use of affiliate links so that you, the reader, always know exactly how this site is funded.

What are affiliate links?

Many of the product links on this website are affiliate links, primarily through the TikTok Shop affiliate program. If you click one of those links and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same whether or not you use our link — the commission is paid by the retailer, not by you.

How this affects our reviews

It doesn't. Our reviews reflect honest, first-hand experience with the products we test. We do not accept payment to write a positive review, and we will tell you when a product fails to live up to its hype. A commission is never a substitute for a real recommendation.

FTC compliance

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 guidelines concerning the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising, Xave Picks discloses that we have a material connection (affiliate commission) with the retailers we link to. Each individual review page also includes a disclosure near the affiliate call-to-action.

If a piece of content is sponsored — meaning a brand has paid us for placement or for honest review consideration — it will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored" at the top of the post. To date, all reviews on this site are independently produced and unsponsored.
